Responsibilities

• Coordinate regional activities in Europe-Africa region related to compliance & internal audit.
• Take an active role in the day-to-day execution of internal audit activities in the region:
• Organize audits according to annual internal audit plan, schedule and audit instructions: prepare and distribute audit communication, plan meetings and business travel arrangements with the auditees;
• Obtain and analyze required information for the audits, carry out risk assessments;
• Assess the suitability of current internal controls, confirm compliance with applicable standards, key controls, regulatory or customer requirements, and make suggestions for improvements where needed;
• Prepare findings, draft audit reports and discuss with the team;
• Communicate identified deficiencies and opportunities for improvement to the auditees and agree on the timelines for corrective action;
• Make follow-up on the implementation of the audit recommendations and ensure that improvements are made;
• Prepare working papers adequately documenting the work performed; liaise with external auditors.
• Execute other assigned administrative tasks within the team: address the requests from other departments; assist in preparation of department’s reports; manage purchasing administration in SAP; support preparation of regular meetings, manage SharePoint site.
