From our regional headquarters based in Zaventem (Brussels area), our team ensures the development and supports manufacturing of high-quality car interior components.
Responsibilities
- Process Auditing of production plants
- Production preparation for new projects (APQP milestone follow up & PPAP)
- Supplier Quality Assurance, Auditing & Improvement
- Leading Quality Improvement Projects in the production plants (6 Sigma – Lean - TPS)
- Developing and implementing regional Quality Management Processes/Procedures
- Driving root cause analysis (5W, Ishikawa), implementing manufacturing process improvements through process and design change
- Assuring good communication between the production plants in the region, the Head Quarter and the customers.
- Providing training on Quality Basics, promoting Cost of Quality activities

Requirements
- Higher education preferably an Engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical,…) or equivalent through experience
- Minimum3 years of experience within the quality division in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry
- Willing to travel frequently (±30%) – during the workweek (Weekends are usually spent at home) to plants and suppliers in the Europe-Africa region
- Language skills: Proficient knowledge of English at a Business Proficiency level is a must; other languages are an asset.
- Strong technical and analytical skills (drawing, production processes, …)
- Experience driving a project and able to take the lead in cross-departmental teams
- The necessary quality and problem solving skills (8D, 5WHY, MSA, FMEA, …)
- Team-player with a persistent personality that is extremely eager to learn
- Good MS Office skills
- Driving license is required
